TGt Meets…Jack Wilkinson of Ruby Reign Events

The latest to be a part of our TGt series is Jack Wilkinson from Ruby Reign Events. Read on to learn what he has to say about his exemplary company and the event planning industry.

Tell us about the services Ruby Reign Events offer.

We offer a wide range of events from corporate through to private events. Our previous corporate events have included light up beer pong tables, DJ’s, Hosts & Videographers. Our previous private events have ranged from children’s parties where we’ve had nerf gun ranges to Zorb Football (14+). We also cater for older teenagers and adults where we’ve supplied DJ’s, Sweet Carts, Nerf Gun Ranges to Zorb Football tournaments.

When did you get the idea to start Ruby Reign Events and how long did it take for the business to officially begin?

We got the idea in early 2023 and after analysing the market we went live in May 2023. With months of planning, we’re now an established business with a wide range of equipment and experience.

What’s the biggest lesson you have learned about orchestrating occasions?

We’ve learnt to always expect the unexpected. With every event we organise we always have a back up plan to revert to if required.

Did you have any experience in event planning and management, prior to launching Ruby Reign Events?

We’ve had previous experience in organising corporate events for companies we’ve previously worked for.

What is a long-term goal you have for Ruby Reign Events?

To chase the dream, not the competition! Our dream is to branch out internationally, a plan which we’re both intent on following through on.

How valuable do you think it is to adhere to trends in your industry?

We always like to keep a keen eye out for upcoming trends, however we always see ourselves as trend setters rather than trend spotters.
