National Self Build & Renovation Centre

The National Self Build and Renovation Centre is the UK’s only permanent exhibition centre for self build, renovation and home improvements.

Open all year round and completely FREE to attend, the Centre gives both new and experienced self builders alike the opportunity to fully experience all the various elements of a self build, renovation project or a simple home improvement. The aim is to inspire, educate and provide impartial advice.

Standard public opening hours: 

• Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00am to 5:30pm
• Monday - Closed for business conferencing
• Every Friday - Renovation House Tour
• Every Saturday - Self Build Educational Tour
• Seasonal Closures 

Walk through three permanent houses, view cut-away foundations, floors, roofs, septic tanks and much, much, more. See the latest products to enhance your home or renovation project including lighting, sound systems, kitchens and flooring - there are 240+ suppliers in the Trade Village.

BuildIt Theatre
