Fabulous Fossils

A hands-on fossil session for families featuring object handling and a clay fossil-making activity.

Children can handle fossils from Reading Museum’s collection, learn about the finds with the museum team, and get creative by making a clay fossil to take home.

Who: Aimed at ages 5+ (all welcome).

Date: Thursday 23 July 2026.

Sessions: 1-hour sessions starting at 10am, 11.15am, 1pm and 2.15pm.

Venue: Reading Museum, Reading, England.

Price: £4 per child. Booking essential (one ticket per child; adults do not need to book).
