Museums, My Way: Build the Change LEGO Sessions
A quieter, neurodivergent-friendly LEGO session for families, featuring ‘Saving Today’s Dinosaurs’ activities and access adjustments.
Saving Today’s Dinosaurs! A special LEGO brick session aimed at neurodivergent visitors and their families, with adjustments and breakout spaces.
Participants explore bird specimens from the museum collection and take part in facilitated hands-on LEGO building.
Support available includes:
- Access to galleries
- Reduced volume of interactive sounds
- Sensory backpacks and ear defenders
- Breakout spaces
- Facilitated hands-on activity
Date: Monday 17 August 2026.
Sessions: 10am–12pm (the page also lists a 1pm session).
Venue: Reading Museum, Reading, England.
Price: Donations welcome. Booking essential (book a space for each child attending).
Note: The museum is closed to other visitors during these sessions.
