Open for Art 2026: Water Fest Parade

A family-friendly parade in Reading led by drummers, featuring banners and streamers created during Water Fest activities, starting from the Abbey Ruins.

Saturday 27 June 2026, 4.00pm–4.30pm

Open for Art 2026: Water Fest Parade is a short parade led by World Groove drummers, featuring banners made by New Town Primary School and streamers created during the day.

The parade starts at Jelly’s stand in the Abbey Ruins and proceeds to Huntley Wharf. Participants who made streamers earlier in the day are encouraged to bring them along.

Audience: all ages; children must be supervised by an adult.

Price: free (donation option referenced on the page).
