Supported Art Sessions and Object Handling

A hands-on object handling and creative session for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, combining tactile exploration with a craft activity.

This hands-on object handling and art session is designed for adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, offering a creative and engaging experience.

Participants explore a range of museum objects through tactile handling and learn about their history and significance. This is followed by a craft activity inspired by the objects, using various materials to create a unique piece to take away.

Dates: Tuesday 7 July 2026 (the page also lists 19 May 2026).
Time: 2.30pm–4.30pm

Price: Free (including for eligible learners; delivered by New Directions College as part of a tailored learning programme; eligibility checks may apply).
