A hilarious musical comedy set on the French Riviera, featuring rival con men competing to prove who is the best swindler in town.

In the exotic French Riviera, Lawrence Jameson has made his living for many years by smooth-talking rich, single women out of their money. Then he meets Freddy Benson, who is also in the swindling game.

Initially forming a double act, egos soon clash and it becomes obvious the French coast is not big enough for the two of them. Hilarity and confusion ensue as they pull out all the stops to prove who is the best con man in town.
