In a remote country house in England, a young governess begins an apparently idyllic new life caring for two children, but their behaviour hints at a darker presence.

As she becomes desperate to protect them from what she believes are malevolent spirits, she descends into ambiguity, raising a chilling question: are the ghosts real, or a projection of something far more terrifying?

Written by Olivier Award-winning playwright Morgan Lloyd Malcolm and brought to the stage with psychological suspense, illusion and stylish theatricality.
