Young Company 26/27 Term 1

Young Company is a weekly theatre programme for aspiring performers aged 16–25, offering advanced actor training, creative projects and professional performance experience at Reading Rep Theatre.

Aspiring performers aged 16–25 can develop their theatre skills with Young Company at Reading Rep Theatre. The programme gives participants the opportunity to explore theatre-making techniques and gain experience performing on a professional stage.

Led by industry professionals Sam Amestoy and Amy Tickner, sessions combine advanced actor training with collaborative creative projects. Participants can develop their confidence and performance skills while working alongside other young artists.

Term 1 runs from Monday 21 September to Monday 30 November 2026, with sessions taking place from 6.30pm to 9pm each Monday. There is no session during half term on Monday 26 October. The term costs £200. The programme is currently at full capacity, but interested applicants can audition via self-tape to join the waiting list.
