Intermediates Youth Theatre 26/27 Term 1

A creative and supportive youth theatre programme for school years 7–8, helping young people develop acting, singing and performance skills while creating original theatre and musical theatre projects.

Are you ready to take your passion for theatre to the next level? Intermediates Youth Theatre gives young people in school years 7–8 the opportunity to develop their performance skills, make new friends and have fun in a supportive creative environment.

Across the youth theatre programme, participants work together to create original theatre projects, develop audition and performance skills, and create their own musical theatre productions to be performed on the Reading Rep stage.

Alongside acting, singing and performance, the programme helps young people build valuable transferable skills including confidence, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, leadership and self-expression. Whether they are new to performing or already have experience, the sessions provide an inspiring space where creativity and confidence can grow.
