Seniors Youth Theatre 26/27 Term 1

Develop your acting, performance and theatre-making skills with Reading Rep’s Senior Youth Theatre, designed for young people in school years 9–10.

Looking to challenge yourself creatively and take your theatre-making to the next level? Senior Youth Theatre at Reading Rep gives young people in school years 9–10 the opportunity to develop their performance skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Throughout the programme, participants explore a range of theatre-making techniques, build their acting and performance skills, and work collaboratively on ambitious creative projects. Each term focuses on a new production or performance opportunity, culminating in a professionally staged sharing of their work.

Alongside theatre training, participants develop valuable skills including confidence, communication, teamwork, leadership, critical thinking and creative problem-solving. Whether you're considering a future career in the arts or simply enjoy performing and creating with others, the programme offers a chance to express ideas, build confidence and work with like-minded young people.
