Matilda Too Boat Trips

Canal boat trips through central Reading on selected days, offering 45-minute journeys past landmarks including the Oracle, Reading Gaol and Abbey ruins.

About the event:
Matilda Too offers 45-minute trips along the canal in the centre of Reading, providing a different perspective of the town.

Trip schedule:

• 45-minute trips on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays
• Friday trips run during school holidays
• Departures at 12.00pm, 1.00pm, 2.00pm and 3.00pm (from May to October)

Departure point: Star Lane Wharf (next to Queen’s Road car park). The route runs through the Oracle and passes Reading Gaol and the Abbey ruins.

Notes: Pre-booking is advisable. Trips can only start when water conditions allow.
