Thames 10km

A scenic 10km running event in Reading with a kids fun run, chip timing, medals and free downloadable event photos.

Thames 10km takes place on Sunday 20th September 2026 in Reading, starting at Thames Valley Park and following the Thames and Kennett & Avon Canal into central Reading and back.

The event includes a Kids Fun Run before the main 10km, with an inclusive atmosphere, chip timing with instant results, a well signed course, friendly marshals, on-site first aid, an event-specific metal finisher medal, awards for podium and age-group winners, and free event photos available to download after the event.
