Wild Goose Chase

A flexible timed running event in Walton-on-Thames with multiple distance options on a flat Thames towpath course and a bespoke finisher’s medal.

Location: Waterside Drive, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey (start area near The Weir Pub)

Phoenix Running’s Wild Goose Chase is a timed event on a flat 5.3km (3.28 mile) out-and-back route along the River Thames. Participants can run as many laps as desired to complete distances from 5km and 10km to half marathon, marathon, or ultra within the overall time limit.

Format: Flexible start times within a 1-hour window; chip timing with online results.

Time limits: Up to 7 hours overall.

Start/finish details: The start is in the small field just before The Weir Pub on Waterside Drive (or the pub patio depending on weather).
